Safeguarding Snapshot: Online Safety
Online safety is fundamentally safeguarding where technology is involved. Children and young people spend a lot of time online – it can be a great way to explore, socialise and have fun. However, the online risks facing our children and young people do not conform to geographical boundaries and requires a collective approach across all agencies and county borders.

Domestic Abuse Animations Launch
Please see below links to animations which have been produced to raise awareness of domestic abuse and signpost to areas of local help and support.
The characters depicted in the animations are voiced by local people from Blackburn with Darwen who felt strongly about sharing their experiences to urge others in a similar situation to access the help that is available locally.
If you want to talk to someone about any of the issues raised in the films there are services in Blackburn with Darwen that will help you with any issue related to domestic abuse and domestic violence.
