A Serious Case Review Briefing has been added to the Training Programme and will take place on 24th November 2014 at 1.30pm in Blackburn Enterprise Centre.

Through the LSCB’s (Local Safeguarding Children Board) Learning & Improvement Framework, the Board undertakes case reviews, case file audits and practitioner forums to learn about how to improve practice and services. The SCR (Serious Case Review Briefing) provides the learning from serious case reviews and provides some tools for practitioners to implement some of the recurrent learning identified in local SCRs.

It is to be noted that this is the only Serious Case Review Briefing which will be offered in this area although there will be one in the Lancashire area and also in the Blackpool area.
