Safeguarding Training Programme – 2014/2015
The LSCB/LSAB Training Programme for 2014/2015 has now been launched!
This year you will note that in addition to the core courses, we are also offering a selection of workshops around the subject of Child Sexual Exploitation – these include Trafficking; Working with Boys and Young Men; Running Away and Missing from Home or Care; Information, Intelligence and Evidence; Technology and Social Media and also Perpetrators of CSE. These workshops will take an hour and a half and are designed for delegates who have already attended a CSE workshop but who want to know a little more. We look forward to hearing your feedback with regards to this addition to the programme.
The main change for this year is the way you will book onto courses. You will note from the programme on page 6, How to Book; that we are now using an electronic booking system which is accessed through the following link:
http://www.bookwhen.com/bwd-safeguarding
By using this link all courses can be booked and should you require, more than one person can be booked onto a course at the same time. This system will also trigger confirmation of booking, text reminders and course documentation. Please find attached a guide regarding the usage of this new system. We are sure you will agree that this signifies a welcome change and should make the system work much more smoothly. We are grateful to the HR Workforce Development team who have spent a great deal of time creating this system for us.
On behalf of the LSCB and LSAB we would like to thank all the trainers who deliver our multi-agency training, we would not be able to offer this wide variety of training courses without you and appreciate the time and effort you put into delivering this training for us.
